All Van Munster 505's are individually built to order. Only the very best materials and techniques are used to construct every Van Munster 505. Van Munster Boats offer a range of construction options that are all built to  win races and last. Call us to discuss the option that best suits your needs.

Available options are:

Standard Construction:

The standard construction option features a vacuum bagged foam sandwich composite. Stitched multiaxial e-glass reinforcement is laminated with a high quality vinylester resin either side of closed cell Divinycell foam. The density and core thickness is optimized to improve hull stiffness, reduce weight in the ends and assist with impact resistance.

Carbon Fibre Construction:

Vacuum bagged carbon fibre foam sandwich composite. Woven carbon fibre is laminated with high strength Vinylester resin either side of closed cell Divinycell foam. The composite is reinforced with extra layers of
uni-directional carbon fibre.

Pre preg Construction:

The ultimate in 505 construction.
Laminated with Sp Systems SE84 epoxy pre preg.
Epoxy pre preg uni-directional carbon fibers are laminated either side of Nomex core. Laminates are reinforced with additional layers of woven carbon and Kevlar reinforcements to add strength and weight into the correct areas of the boat. The hull and deck components are cooked in a purpose built oven under high vacuum pressure.
