-Trailable Motor Launch
Van Munster Boats of Lake Macquarie have released the Sanctuary620. The trailable motor launch is proudly Australian inspired, designed and built. This new production version is a centre console configuration with full walk around access.
At 6.2m (21ft) and with a displacement of just 1240kgs the Sanctaury620 is easy to handle.
Leisurely cruise all day at 6-7 knots with the reliable 30hp Yanmar Diesel engine on only 3-5 lt per hour. The 30hp shaft drive diesel provides enough power for a top speed of 14 knots.
Guests can relax on the comfortable fwd and aft settees or the fishing enthusiasts can use the seating arrangement as secure casting platforms.
Ample stowage for a great day on the water is supplied via large self draining weather proof lockers. A dual icebox cleverly located below the helmsman’s seat can be utilised as a cold box for drinks & food, live bait or freshly caught fish.
Accessories for fishing enthusiasts include in-built rod holders and the 700XS Hummingbird fish-finder/GPS combo which is flush mounted in the console.
As you would expect from a luxury vessel all the modern conveniences are available such as a GME marine radio system (with VHF receiver), Navigation lights and LED cockpit lights, 12V power outlet (for charging phones etc).
The fuel level indicator, stereo, switch panel for the electrical systems, along with the standard Yanmar instrument panel, steering wheel and Morse engine control are all ergonomically located in the console.
The anchor is easy to access and store in the fwd anchor locker when you find that nice little cove or beach. Family and friends will love swimming from the transom mounted swim platform.
The boat is equally suited to being conveniently kept in the water or easily trailed home behind a medium size V6 car or four wheel drive.
A Burmese teak cockpit floor accentuates the classical style . Laminated hardwood sponsons with polished stainless rubbing strip deliver a timber boat feel.
When underway the fine entry of the traditional Carvel hull shape slices through chop with a minimum of fuss and the full length keel makes the boat track so straight that it just about drives itself. With only a slight turn of the wheel the aerofoil shaped rudder turns the boat on a dime. The prop is protected by the full length keel and the cleverly moulded built heel also supports the bottom of the rudder and protects the prop.
The Sanctuary 620 delivers simplicity, versatility and practicality making the boat easy to use and a pleasure to own.
